This week we focused on getting to know each other and our families.Slowly we were introduced to the many centers and walked trough the daily schedule. We couldn't be happier! everyone is adjusting so well that we feel as we know each other for a while. We played a class bingo where each child board was pictures from other children. it really helped us learn each others names. We even took it further and played a voice recognition name. By Thursday we were ready to write a class book, where we talked about our families and our favorite animals. Everyone is getting a copy and we hope you enjoy it and read it over and over to your children. One of the activities we did this week was, giving the children mirrors and asking them to describe themselves. We realized we are all unique and special in our own way. We decorated "fake" mirrors with a special song to remember it.
